How do I know if hormones are right for me?
If you have the symptoms discussed above and would like to discuss hormone management, speak with your primary healthcare provider and consider a consultation with The Hormone Management Team at Maddox Drugs in Toccoa, GA.  This consultation involves a review of your current medical conditions, medications, past history and family illnesses.  Our team then meets with you by telemedicine to discuss your symptoms and options.  Our team consists of a Board Certified Physician Sexologist and a PharmD Clinical Pharmacist.  The team will then make recommendations back to your primary healthcare provider for hormone management if you are a candidate for therapy.
How do I take hormones?
Hormone therapy can come in many different forms.  This can come in the form of a topical cream, dissolvable oral tablet, oral capsule and injectable forms.  For women, vaginal creams may also be available.  We generally prefer to have a compounded hormone preparation that is tailored just for you.
How much does it cost?
Maddox Drugs provides custom compounding services, so you only pay for the medications and amount that is needed just for you.  If shipping is required, there will be an additional nominal charge for the proper shipping and handling.  Consultations are based on the complexity and amount of time spent on each case.  On average, a new-patient, hormone consult is around $100 and a follow up consultation is around $50.
